‘A Stepping Stone into the Future’

Summer A

Week 4

The children have worked really hard this week. We have continued to learn about explorers in space and about plants. In maths we have been learning about fractions. In English, we have have been sorting fiction and non fiction, finding the features in a fact file and gathering information to write our own fact file. The year 2 children took part in a computing workshop creating pixel art posters.

Week 3

The children have worked really hard rewriting the story of Alan’s big scary teeth, they have done a super job. In maths they have been using money. In history they were excited to learn about the Artemis 2 mission. 

Week 2

The children have been working hard, they thoroughly enjoyed their bushcraft afternoon with their parents. Thank you to all who could make it.

 

Week 1

The children have returned to school eager to share their holiday news and raring to get stuck into their new learning. We have begun our new book Alan’s big scary teeth. We have completed our work on multiplying and dividing. In Science, we have begun looking at plants and the 7 living processes. In history, we have begun looking at explorers.
