Summer B
Minibeasts
Following on from "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" we are looking at different kinds of minibeasts. We are learning how to differentiate between them; counting the number of legs, spotting wings and learning about their homes.
Nursery observed them carefully and created them in paint and collage. We went on an exciting minibeast hunt in the bushcraft area to find them. The children discovered some tadpoles and frogs in the pond.
Ladybirds
Finding ladybirds in our garden!
End of Year Trip
We had so much fun at Kenton Sports Centre soft play for our end of year Nursery trip. We then came back and had a teddy bears picnic (indoors) where the children tried out the buffet table, choosing what they would like to eat.
Nursery Graduation
The Nursery staff are so very proud of all the children who looked adorable in their graduation celebration this week. They were exceptionally brave and sang 'A Million Dreams' beautifully for the whole school and parents. I'm certain a few tears were shed!
We have had a brilliant year looking after you all and we know you will all be great in Reception!
