Summer Term B
Week Three
On 'Beeday' (Monday) the children had a fantastic day identifying the different types of bees which live and feed around the school grounds. Thank you to Mrs McHatton for organising this. We did lots of other activities linked to bees and even dis some observational drawing in art.
The children were treated to a RAP talk by the inspirational Darren Tate who runs the #Suitability charity. It is awe inspiring to see the difference once person with an idea can have to other people's lives.
Big Me Day was a roaring success and I for one enjoyed being in role as Judge Croll. Thank you to Mrs Khan for organising it.
Week One and Two
It has been lovely to see some sunshine in the last two weeks and the children have enjoyed getting outside and playing rounders in PE.
Unfortunately, end of year assessments have taken place which is not very exciting for our class blog, however, the children worked really hard and it is lovely to see how much they have come on.
This half term the children are working with the Music Service and learning all about drumming.
