Autumn Term B
Week 5
This week we have been really busy learning our song for the show. As well as practising the song we also learned British Sign Language so that anyone belonging to the deaf community could enjoy it too. It was a little tricky but our practise paid off and we managed to sign aswell as singing in tune. We hope everyone enjoys it.

Week 3
“One kind word” Anti- Bullying Week.
This week we have celebrated Anti-Bullying Week, revisiting the different types of bullying and strategies overcome and prevent bullying behaviour. We looked at different scenarios and discussed whether or not they were mean, rude or bullying and sorted them into the correct categories.
Week 2
Christmas began on Monday in our bush craft session where we have begun to make our Christmas Stars by Lashing and frapping willow together using wool. We are going to create 2 triangles and then over lap them to create our Christmas Stars. It was quite tricky but we never gave up and no one managed to tie themselves up which is always a bonus!
On Thursday we had a Remembrance Day assembly in class and thought about all of the brave soldiers who have fought for us and made great sacrifices for us. We then rehearsed and performed the poems In Flanders Fields and Lest We Forget and then we went on to write our own acrostic poem for Remembrance Day using ideas we had learned and discovered.

Week 1
This week we have come back ready for another exciting half term in the lead up to Christmas and have enjoyed being Maths detectives solving bonfire night Maths Mysteries to find out who stole all of the hotdogs. We found it quite trick but didn't give up until we had worked out the culprit. In Music we have been continuing develop our understanding of rhythm during our Rock Steady Music sessions.
We are all excited about the fire works tonight and hope every one has a fab time and stays safe.
