Week 3
Another great week! This week in English the children have been making predictions and understanding characters for our two new books, The ‘Barnabus Project’ and ‘The Dark’. They have been doing role play and hot seating to develop their oracy skills and developing their understanding of the characters further. In Maths the children have been looking at 2D shapes and counting the numbers of edges and vertices. On Tuesday the year two children had a NSPCC workshop about how to speak out if they are feeling worried or unsafe. KS1 have been practising for their Christmas performance and have thoroughly enjoyed learning the new songs. We are very grateful to parents who attended our poetry recital and reading workshop on Thursday, thank you for your continued support!
