Spring Term B
Week 5
Happy Easter everyone! We had some eggcellent entries into our design an Easter egg competitions. We also celebrated Spanish a day with a school football match featuring Madrid vs Barcelona as well as some tasty Spanish treats.
Week 4
In maths this week we have been partitioning and rounding decimal numbers.
We were treated to a RAP talk from John Quinn who told us his very interesting life story and shared some of his inspirational poetry.
Week 2
This week we invited to court for jury duty in the case of Mr Wolf vrs The Three Pigs. We have to carefully consider all of the evidence before deciding weather or not Mar Wolf was innocent or guilty. This helped us to learn about the ‘Rule of Law’ British Value. In the drama workshop that followed we explored the characters in the story and had great fun.
Our assembly this week focused on ‘Speak Out’ the NSPCC.
Week 1
This week we enjoyed dressing for World Book Day and having story time in our lovely library area. We had a brilliant parent and child learning long workshop which focused on E-safety. Children and their careers watched some videos and then made their own board games to play, with top tips on how to stay safe online.
