A key element of the WDPS Culture is helping others. This is why we actively support charities like The Children’s Heart Unit Fund (CHUF) at the Freeman Hospital  and the Royal British Legion.  

We actively support others through activities such as:

• 24 Hour Fitness Event to Fund-raise for the Children's Heart Unit Fund (CHUF).
• Remembrance and The Royal British Legion support work.
• Sponsored walks and other events to raise money for Disability North East, AlanShearer Centre, Young Musicians’ Fund and Crisis Point.

It is important to all in our school community that we live out the WDPS Core  Values in our daily lives and this includes:
