Week 1

What a lovely and busy week back at school! In maths we have been adding 2 digit numbers using lots of different resources and techniques. In Literacy we have started two new books called ‘Be More Bernard’ and ‘Wolves’ by Emily Gravett. The children made predictions about the main characters in the book, and discussed differences between fiction and nonfiction. The children had a great music session on Thursday learning to play different percussion instruments. On Friday afternoon the whole school had a treat watching the pantomime ‘Robin Hood’.We have been rehearsing for our Remembrance Assembly and we look forward to seeing the parents on Tuesday.
