Autumn Term B
Christmas Crafts
The last week of term, in Year 6, has been full of busy making stunning calendars in an impressionist style of 'Sycamore Gap' as well as sewing our hearts for our festive Christmas cards. We hope you cherish the children's creativity. Have a wonderful time with your families. You will all be pleased to know that there is no homework. Enjoy! Miss Croll and Mrs Sutcliffe.
Nets
Today Miss Croll's class was learning about nets in maths. They constructed nets and then carried out some reasoning activities.
Rover
Newcastle University Science Outreach Team have been working with year 6. They have created a rover and then produced the code to make it move.
Life On Earth
This half term we are reading the non-fiction text 'A Beginner's Guide to Life on Earth' by Gill Arbuthnott.
Here the children have been sorting sentences to match subheadings.
