Summer A
Week Six
This week we have done a lot of investigations in light. We used coloured filter paper to see if different coloured objects would change colour when looking through the filter paper. We then made shadow puppets and put on a show for our class. In maths we have looked at angles. In English we wrote some fantastic pieces about ‘The Piano’.
Hope you all have a lovely half term.
Week Five
The children have been working hard this week in maths looking at time. In Science they investigated how light reflects off of different objects. They used mirrors to try and get the light to travel round the maze. At the end of the week we enjoyed a lovely bushcraft session working on our life skills award.
Have a look at some pictures below.
Week Four
We have had another busy week this week. In maths we have focused on statistics. In English we did a lovely piece of writing. In science, we started our new topic about light. We made presentations about how we see light. We enjoyed playing rounders and basketball in PE.

Week Three
We have had a busy week. We enjoyed a fun science experiment to find out which exercise raised our heart rate the most. In maths, we finished off our topic on area and perimeter. In English, we have some great argument for and against schools doing homework. We even had time to enjoy a morning in bushcraft, looking at how Kellie Kettles work and making sure we stay safe around fire.

They have loved basketball and have worked well in teams.
