Spring Term B
Week 6
What a super last week of term the children have had! We began the week with an Easter Egg hunt with Mrs McHatton, the children had to follow clues from the Gruffalo story. We have learnt lots about the Easter story and why Christians celebrate Easter. The children have made palm leaves to remember Palm Sunday and a sunset silhouette cross scene to remember Good Friday.
Week 5
The children really enjoyed their PE lesson this week with Summer from Active kids. They had fun showing off their own dance moves, learning a new dance and playing games.
Week 4
Another very busy week at school, the children are settling back into school and adapting to the school routine. Thank you for helping us with this, by getting your children to bed early, so they are ready to learn. We have been practising our column addition and subtraction and reading The Great Dragon Rescue. They have enjoyed looking at where we live and we were super impressed that they remembered what country and city we live in.
Week 3
It has been wonderful having all of the class back together this week, they have all returned well and have hit the ground running. We have had a busy week. We began our street dance sessions on Monday and we had a super time during our bushcraft sessions on Thursday morning. Then in between all of that we have been subtracting two 2 digit numbers, grouping nouns and adjectives, making Mother's Day cards and lots more.
We were delighted, when we listened to the children read, to find that so many of them needed to move up a book level. Please keep practising reading at home, it really makes a difference.

Lockdown Week 2
All the staff would like to offer our heart felt thanks to all the parents and children who have continued to work through lockdown. The quality and commitment shown has been fantastic!
We can't wait to see the children next week so that you can show us all the new skills you have gained whilst working from home.
Lockdown Week 1
What another great week for all the children at home and in school.
It's delightful to see the commitment they are showing towards their learning.
