Week 4
This week the children have been working hard to improve their handwriting. In maths they have been sharing and in science they have been learning about the seasons. The children really enjoyed their bushcraft session, creating land art and sculptures out of clay. They are ready for a well deserved holiday. Enjoy the break.
Week 3
The children have had a busy week. They enjoyed their visit from Mr Davies, who came to talk to them about school in the 1950’s and 60’s. The children asked lots of thoughtful historical questions and learnt lots.
In maths, they have worked hard making groups of different amounts. In English, we have begun a new book Duck says don’t, the children have been linking it to their own experiences.

The children have enjoyed a busy week. They have been building arrays in maths and can tell you how many rows and how many columns. it was great to see them in their red, white and blue. They enjoyed learning about VE day.

Week 1
It was lovely to welcome the children back after their Easter break and here how they had enjoyed the holidays.
This week we have been counting in2's, 5's and 10's, please encourage your child to keep practising this at home. In English, we have been looking at story structure and we have begun rewriting Alan's big scary teeth. This week we began our new History topic exploring how schools have changed. We have been asking questions that we would like to find the answers to. It has been an action packed first week back.
