‘A Stepping Stone into the Future’

Summer Term B

 Nursery Graduation

All the staff want to wish our fantastic Nursery children lots of love and luck for the future whether your staying in school or moving on.

It has been a busy year with lots of learning, friendships made and fun to be had by all.

Goodbye we will miss you!

 Whitehouse Farm Trip

At the farm the children met some small animals and they were able hold them if they wanted to. There were rabbits, guinea pigs, a mouse and a snake.  They also saw some meerkats, a parrot and bearded dragons.

There was time for a very bumpy tractor ride and a quick stop at the cafe for lunch.

After lunch it was time to visit the bigger animals and feed them. First they fed the deer then said hello to the emus on the way to the lambs.  Then it was time to feed the goats, sheep, ponies, donkeys, horses and pigs. The donkey was very loud!

The children then had some fun in the park and on the bouncing cushions before it was time to head back to school.

The bus ride back was very quiet … some of the children even managed to squeeze in a snooze!

Old Mikamba Had A Farm

This week we have read this story and been interested to find out what animals they have on a farm in another country.  We have tried to copy the animal noises and move around like these animals.

The children then used the pictures in the book as a reference and painted their own versions of the animals in the story.
