PE Curriculum Coverage and Progression

PE Skills Progression Document

Physical Education (PE) Curriculum

WDPS believe a high quality physical education curriculum inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically demanding activities. The curriculum provides an opportunity for children to improve their fitness, skills and health. It inspires children to challenge themselves and to develop positive and healthy attitudes for life.

The WDPS Core Values (‘Learner Profile’ and ‘Attitudes to Promote’) are embedded in the children’s learning experiences in the International Primary Curriculum, the WDPS Life Skills Challenge modules ‘WDPS Olympics Challenge’, ‘WDPS Life Cycle’ and ‘WDPS I Can Do It!’ which includes learning bush-craft skills and developing our school allotments.
