Summer 2 Week 5
We were delighted when Mrs Sparke popped in to award our class with a fabulous Golden Ticket for attendance! We get an extra break time at a time of our choosing. Thank you to our parents as we couldn’t win this award without your support 😊👍🌟
A huge well done to Franky, Ethan, Emily, Joe and James this week on receiving their Achiever’s Awards. They were so pleased to receive their certificates and stickers from Mr MingStones. Keep up the good work! 😊🏆
In Design Technology, we have been learning about puppets! We looked at some different kinds of puppets and chose our favourite. We have learned about Punch and Judy puppets at the seaside and enjoyed watching a Punch and Judy show. It was very funny!
Summer 2 Week 4
Congratulations to our children who received an Achiever’s Award this week! Harper, Joey, Ethan and Maycee were very pleased! 😊🏆
In Science this week, we did some experiments to find out what the best material would be to make an umbrella to keep a teddy dry in the rain. To make the test fair, we used the same sized cups and teddies and used 12 drops of water on each material: kitchen roll, foil, fabric and plastic. We found that the teddy stayed driest with the plastic.
Summer 2 Week 3
Congratulations to Carter, Jackson, Bluebell, James and William who received an Achiever’s Award this week. Well done! 😊🏆👍
We had a wonderful time on Tuesday in the Bushcraft area with Mrs McHatton. We made our own pizzas and cooked them in the fire! Of course we had to taste them and they were absolutely delicious! 😋🍕🔥
We leaned about all of the different ways people are smart in PHSCE, which is sometimes called Multiple Intelligences. We talked about the ways that we are all smart in our own way, we all had at least 2 or 3 ways of being smart! 😊🧠
Summer 2 Week 2
Well done to our children who received their Achiever’s Certificates from Mr MingStones this week! Congratulations to Emily, Joey, Danny, Reece and Harper on their hard work and great attitude 😊🏆👍
We enjoyed our Feel Good Friday music session, here we are rocking out to Livin’ on a Prayer! 🎸🎤
We have been busy this week practising our 10 times table and number bonds. We have written instructions for staying safe on the beach and in History we have been looking at photographs to find out about holidays in the past 🏖🎡.
Summer 2 Week 1
We have 5 children celebrating their Achievers Awards this week! Well done to Thomas, Franky, Pollyanna, Jacob and Nate, who were very proud of their work. 😊🏆
We have learned about eBooks this week and we are starting to create our own using Purple Mash. We designed our characters on paper first, then we have drawn them using the tools on the iPads. We loved using the special effects pens! Don’t they look great?!
