‘A Stepping Stone into the Future’

Apply For Nursery

Reminder - Applications for September 24 Nursery places will be closing on 22nd March to allow us to process offers before we break up for Easter.

Our plan for our Nursery intake for 2024 is changing.

Children will not longer be unconditionally offered a Free 30 hour Nursery place. Those families who qualify for a 30 hour Government funded code will continue to be offered 30 hours, providing our staff deem them mature enough to benefit from full time provision.

Families will be offered a 15 hour place for either the BOW ie. Monday & Tuesday all day and a Wednesday morning, or EOW place Wednesday pm and all day Thursday and Friday.

Additional sessions may be available to be bought dependant on availability.

Free of charge full time places are going to be offered to children who are ready to access 30 hours and qualify for 30 hours free childcare.

Working parents of 3 and 4 year old children in the UK are eligible for 30 hours free childcare.  Our school will take into account the best number of hours to suit each individual child's social and developmental needs.  Parents who qualify for the 30 hours free childcare must register with the government for this service.  For information on this and to check eligibility please visit

September 2023 Nursery Intake

Nursery places for September 2023 have now been allocated.  All offers have been sent out and accepted.

Nursery is now full and we have a waiting list in operation.

Our trial of offering 30 hour free childcare places has proved a huge success for our families and the children are really settling well into school life at West Denton.

We are unable to accept any further applications at present.
