Week 4

Planting Cress Heads

Everyone was very excited to learn about how to make a cress head. 

The children were amazed by the size of the miniscule seeds! 

Each cress head has a happy face drawn on the front. We're keeping our fingers crossed that they have lots of hair by next week which would give all of the children a reason to smile. 

Week 3

Science

The children have been finding out more about plants, looking at how they grow from a seed through to a fully grown plant. 

They managed to make their own diagram and label the parts of the plant. 

Week 2 

Pizza Express

This week Year 1 became chef's!

They worked with the lovely staff at Pizza Express to independently create their own pizzas. The children kneaded the dough for the base, added the tomato sauce and sprinkled the cheese. 

Their mouth-watering pizzas were a real taste sensation!
