Summer A
Week One
Hope you have all enjoyed a lovely Easter. We have had a busy first week back, in maths we have looked at recognising and measuring angles. In English, we have started our new book Clockwork by Philip Pullman. In history, we have found out lots of information about the census'. In music we have looked at a new song called ‘Dancing in the streets’. In PE with have been looked at the different types of passes we could use in a basketball game. We even enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the bushcraft drawing things they have observed in nature.

Week Two
We have had another busy week this week, In English we have wrote a diary entry. In maths, we have continued to work on measuring angles. In history, we enjoyed celebrating VE Day by wearing red, white and blue. In PE, we practised dribbling and passing the ball because we need these skills in basketball.
Week Three
This week has been a busy week, in English we have began to write a story building suspense. In maths, we have looked at position and direction by plotting points on a graph. In music, we practised singing our song and practised with the glockenspiels. In PE, we continued to learn new skills for basketball. We have finished our topic in history and begun looking at changes in materials in science. we investigated and found out which materials were soluble or insoluble.
