Week 3

In PHSE we discussed Road Safety and the importance of staying close to an adult and holding their hand when crossing the road. We also talked about finding safe places to cross.
In English, we have been looking at nouns and taking inspiration from the classic children’s story Where The Wild Things Are.
In maths, we have been learning about number lines and using them to help us order numbers.
Week 2

We also received the whole school attendance certificate for the 8th time this year - a fantastic achievement! 🏆🌟🤩
Week 1
Happy 2024 to all of our children and families! It has been lovely to welcome the children back to school.
In maths we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We could match objects to their 3D shape.
We also made cube shaped treasure boxes and decorated all 6 faces of the cube 🧊
In ICT we have begun learning about Spreadsheets. We have created some beautiful patterns using blocks of colour.
Well done to Leon, Alexa, Carter, Charlie B and Jessica for receiving an Achievers Award from Mr MingStones this week! Congratulations also go to Darcey who won Mr MingStones’ special Headteacher accolade for being kind to other children in her group 😊🤩🏆🌟👏
Our class also won the school attendance award for the *7th* time since September! As always a huge thank you to our families for bringing your children to school on time every day 🤩🏆🙌
