Birthday Girl!

We celebrated Scarlett's birthday this week and shared a delicious cake with friends.

 Rebound Therapy

Rebound therapy uses trampolines to promote movement, balance, muscle tone, fitness and communication skills.

Finger Challenge

To develop our finger strength and hand eye co-ordination, we added icing to our cupcakes, using a spoon and squeezing tubes.

 Wow Moment!

Theo tried a school dinner and ate all the chicken!  With some initial support, he was able to use his fork to pick up pieces.

 Painting Tools

Rainbow group used sea animal shaped stencils, experimented using different painting tools and mixed paint colours together.

 Hairbrushing

Scarlett has explored hairbrushing using the new styling head toy.

 Peekaboo! Under the Sea

We have enjoyed examining the lift the flap and pop up surprises on each page, of our new sensory story.  Here we are enjoying a range of under the sea themed enhancements this week.

Hedgehog Peg Toy

Scarlett has been developing her hand to eye co-ordination and fine motor skills.  She copied the grown up naming the colours of the spikes.

 Wow Moment!

Scarlett can copy saying the shape names.  She was able to feed the shapes to the matching shape monster.

 Water Play

We made the most of the sunny weather by splashing in the paddling pool and pouring buckets of water.
