Week 3
Fashion Show
A change of focus! We started the week with listening to the story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle linked to our life cycle topic this term.
Two of our children made beautiful dresses in the junk modelling area. Lots of children admired their creations, so we decided to design and make fashion items for our very own Nursery fashion show.

Week 4
Minibeast Hunt
Nursery went on a mini beast in our forest area. The children talked about where they might find minibeasts and explored dark, wet places such as underneath logs. The children were successful in locating several different minibeasts such as worms, slugs, woodlice, ants and a centipede. The children handled them carefully and were able to observe them up close before returning them to their natural habitat.
