World Book Day March 2024
This year our WDPS theme for World Book Day has been to 'Snuggle and Read'. Children and staff were invited to come in their PJs and snuggle and read. The Snuggles have been over the moon. We did not want to put pressure on families to go out and buy new outfits but some children had book character costumes they wanted to wear.
Enjoy the photos!

Spelling Bee 23.11.23
This week, the children in KS2 have taken part in a spelling bee competition with another local primary school. It was inspiring to see the children with such confidence, stand up and spell some very tricky words. Every speller received a bee keyring as well as a certificate for taking part and the winners of each year group also got some amazing stationary. We can’t wait to improve the spelling and compete again in another spelling bee. Well done WDPS, I was exceptionally proud of you all! Miss Croll
