• POSITIVE COVID TESTS IN PUPILS

  Sadly, we have had two pupils test positive for Covid over this weekend. This has resulted in 112 children and 18 members of staff having to self isolate. The implications reach further, as many other siblings have been prevented from attending school, due to the practicalities within families who are isolating. The implications on the staff members is also far reaching within their own families.

  Please can we quote from the Government Guidelines that families and children should still not be mixing indoors out with their bubbles. 

   

   "As soon as possible and by no later than Step 3, (17th May) we will also update the advice on social distancing between friends and family, including hugging. But until this point, people should continue to keep their distance from anyone not in their household or support bubble. No overnight sleepovers should take place for adults or children. "

   

  To keep our community safe, please can we ask you to adhere to these rules and look after one another.
