‘A Stepping Stone into the Future’

Autumn A

Week 8

We finally made it to the last week of term.  The children have had lots of fun this week and are very tired.  In English the class have been comparing the stories of the Deep Dark Wood and Little Red.  In Maths we have been doing a systematic approach to number bonds.  In Art the class enjoyed creating a landscape sketch and added water colours to paint it.  In Music we have been learning to play a tuned instrument (glockenspiel).  On Thursday the class had a lot of fun designing and making axels for their vehicles.  In the afternoon they let off some steam at the Halloween Disco.

Over the half term it would be great if the children could read their book to a grown up.  We hope they have a great break and enjoy the time off to recharge.
