‘A Stepping Stone into the Future’

Autumn Term A

Week 6

Another brilliant week. We have been reading Meerkat Mail, the children have enjoyed creating their own story maps of the book. We have also begun using Doodle maths, the children are enjoying this and have brought their passwords home so they can log in. Please encourage them to log on daily, it will really make a huge difference to their progress.

Week 5

The children had a super week, they really enjoyed their Bushcraft session, cycling and their music lesson.

Week 4

The children have had a busy week ordering and comparing numbers. They have also been practising counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s. In English they have been writing a recount of Claude’s trip to the city and a recount from the caterpillar. They have also enjoyed cycling and PE.

Next week we are really looking forward to our attendance week at school. We are so proud of our class because we won ‘The Golden Ticket’ last week for having the best attendance in school. Let’s keep it up!

Week 3

Harvesting our apples treat at break time.

Nate’s apple tree grown from a pip he saved.

Well Done Achievers!

Week 2

The children have worked really hard this week. Some of the children have been learning to ride a bike, everyone will have a chance at these sessions over the coming weeks.

They have been working hard on their place value understanding in Maths and in English they have met Claude and Sir Bobblysock.

Week 1

It has been so lovely to meet our new class this week and we are delighted with them. They have settled back in really well.

This week they have worked on lots of ‘All about me’ work and they thoroughly enjoyed their bushcraft session.
