Spring 1 Week 7
We have been learning about Christianity this week. We have learned about churches and the Bible. We have listened to the story of Noah’s Ark and sequenced it. We loved finding out about the first rainbow! 🌈
Spring 1 Week 6
Well done to our children receiving Achievers Awards today. Owen, Lia, Seren and Amelia were very proud of themselves! 😊👍🌟
We made fabulous African style hats this week, inspired by the Masai tribes from Kenya 🇰🇪 and Tanzania 🇹🇿. We even added beads to them! We are so pleased with the results 😊
Spring 1 Week 5
Well done to Macie, Dylan, Octavia, Lacey and Hassan who all received their Achievers Awards from Mr MingStones this week. We’re sure their families will be super proud! 😊👍🌟
We made amazing African masks this week. We are so proud of how they turned out! We used tissue paper to add dimension to the nose and mouth. The white dots and stripes were done using cotton buds and paint 🇰🇪
Spring 1 Week 4
Well done to Amelia, Malik, Leo, Shanade and Charlie on their Achievers Awards this week. Their families will be very proud of them! 😊🏆
We have worked really hard on our tens and ones in maths this week. We matched up the numbers and how they were represented in tens and ones.
Our children looked fabulous in their favourite outfits for non-school uniform day! Many thanks to our families for the donations of gifts to be used for fundraising in school 😊
Spring 1 Week 3
Well done to this week’s Achievers, Amelia, Aminah, Eli, Azhe and Amelia! We hope they put their certificates up at home! 😊🏆🌟
We have been using apparatus such as counters in maths this week to help develop our subtraction skills.
On Tuesday we had a visitor called Simone from the River Trust, who told us all about keeping our environment tidy and litter free to keep rivers clean and wildlife safe. We worked together on a litter pick to make our school grounds much cleaner and tidier!
