Trips
Having fun and enjoying the loose leaves at Gibside, whilst working on our Life Skills Challenge Awards
World Book Day
On Thursday 4th March we celebrated World Book Day both with the children in school and those learning at home. Some children dressed up as a favourite book character, whilst others chose to read in unusual places.
Children's Mental Health Week
This week we have been celebrating Children's Mental Health Week both with the children who are in school and with those that are learning at home using Seesaw or workpacks.
This year's theme is Express Yourself and the culmination of the week was to encourage pupils and staff to wear their wackiest outfit, whether they were working at home or in school.
We enjoyed seeing everyone express themselves and have fun!
Santa came to visit school to see all of our children. The children shared their Christmas wish with him, drank hot chocolate and milkshake around the fire, whilst singing Christmas songs and then received a gift all socially distanced. Even Santa had to follow the guidelines to keep everyone safe.
