Summer Term A
Week 3
We did it! SAT’s are finished! Huge well done to all the children. Their resilience and determination has shone through and we are so proud of them all. To celebrate, we had a huge water fight on the yard on Thursday afternoon. We also have a disco and movie planned for Friday. Enjoy it kids, you totally deserve it.
Week 2
We had a Lego character competition in class this week. Everyone’s design was excellent but two winners were finally chosen. Congratulations to Ella and Thomas. You can see the designs below in the gallery.
Week 1
We are so impressed with how hard our children are working toward their SATs. We know it’s difficult and everyone is tired but their determination and dedication has been great to see. Keep it up Year 6, we are almost there.
To give the children a little break from SATs revision, in English the children made up silly stories where they had to take two nouns and put them together to create the name of a character. They then had to write about a day in the life of that character, which produced some hilarious stories as you can see from the snippets below.
