Week 3

Many thanks to all of the Year 1 parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles who came into school this week to support their child to Snuggle & Read. It was wonderful to see so many children and families enjoy sharing some of our gorgeous picture books together! Thanks go also to Miss Croll for organising this lovely event, as well as talking to families about how they can encourage their child to read for pleasure. 

Week 4

We had our first Bushcraft of 2024 this week! It’s fair to say that a great time was had by all. The children were fascinated by the frog pond and they loved seeing the frogspawn and a couple of friendly frogs 🐸🐸. We also saw several of our resident birds - a robin, some blackbirds and a magpie.

This week we were treated to a RockSteady concert! Nathan the band leader has been teaching some groups of children to play various instruments such as drums, guitar, bass, keyboards and voice. There should be a few spaces left if anyone might be interested. 🥁🎹🎤🎸
