Christmas Lunch and Christmas Party, all in one day! What great fun we've had.

Week 7

Carol Singing at the Outer West Library

On Tuesday morning our class headed to Outer West Library to sing carols. The children sang beautifully and afterwards were rewarded for their efforts with orange squash and biscuits provided by the library.

Week 6

Carol Singing in Eldon Square

On Friday Y5-6 entertained the shoppers in Eldon Square with their wonderful carol singing, raising funds for the Graham Wylie Foundation who support our Life Skills Challenge Award.

Before arriving in Eldon Square, the class enjoyed looking at Fenwicks' Christmas window display.

A Christmas Carol

Our children all dressed up and ready to perform in this year's production 'A Christmas Carol'. They did not disappoint: beautiful singing, amazing acting and we were all thoroughly entertained. Well done everyone!

Visiting Santa

On Thursday Year 5/6 enjoyed visiting Santa in our bushcraft area treehouse. Each child was given a selection pack and a lovely non-fiction book. They also enjoyed delicious hot chocolate made by Mrs McHatton.

Carol Singing at the Dementia Café

Year 5 children entertained attendees of the Dementia Café with their wonderful carol singing on Tuesday. 

Week 5 

This week Craig and Georgia from Northumbria University delivered an exciting Exploring Science workshop. We used Lego Education to build Milo the science rover, working in teams. We had great fun and really rose to the challenge.
