Week 7
This week Santa visited us in the Bush Craft grotto. We all wrote down our Christmas wishes and shared them with Santa before hanging them on the Christmas tree. Santa was very kind and gave us all a scrummy selection box and we thanked him by singing a few Christmas songs, which he really enjoyed. We then enjoyed a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and a Christmas chocolate coin. We are all very excited for Christmas and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you all on the 9th of January.
Week 6
This week we had our Christmas play. We had the traditional Nativity story along with some of our favourite Carols and songs. We had worked really hard and our hard work paid off with a super performance by everyone.
Week 4
This week we have been continuing to learn about Rainforests and their climates. We have been learning about where exactly in the world we will find them and we discovered that there are 3 imaginary lines around the Earth called the Tropic of Cancer, The Equator and the Tropic of Capricorn. We learned that all rainforests are found between the Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn.
We have continued to read The Great Kapok Tree in English and have been using an online dictionary to find the definitions of different words from the story.
Week 2
This week was antibullying week. We did a range of activities and some role play around bullying and how to help other people and make sure bullying never happens, especially in school
Week 1
This week the book fair arrived and we enjoyed looking at the new books on offer.
We were also thinking about Rememberance Day. We wrote some acrostic poems remembering all of the people and animals that lost their lives in the many different wars that have occured.
