🗣️ What Is the School Council?

Our School Council is a group of children from across the school. They meet regularly with our School Council teacher, Mrs Hughes, to share ideas, solve problems and help make West Denton Primary a happy, safe place for everyone.

🗳️ How Do You Join?

At the start of the year, each class has an election. Children who want to be councillors tell the class their ideas. Then everyone votes for the person they think will be a great representative.

🤝 What Do School Councillors Do?

• Listen to their class and bring ideas to meetings

• Talk about ways to improve school

• Plan fun events like charity days and theme days

• Work as a team to make decisions

• Help everyone feel included and heard
